#### Aims
Mathematical modelling and numerical simulation can be used to investigate the physiology of aortic blood flow. One of the key questions is how blood flow dynamics can be assessed and how surgery risk factors can be quantified.

#### Why using HiFlow³?
HiFlow³ enables the evaluation of risk factors such as the wall shear stress by means of finite element simulations. Furthermore, the reliability of simulation results can be assessed by the Uncertainty Quantification (UQ) module.
